Privacy policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

This page explains what we collect when you visit ravenx.org or get in touch, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. In short: we only collect what we need to reply to you and improve the site, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Client projects have their own data terms, agreed in the project contract.

Who we are

RavenX Technologies Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16398790. Registered office: A18 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, England, IP28 7DE. We decide how your information is used, which makes us the “controller” under data protection law. For any privacy question, email info@ravenx.org.

What we collect

  • When you send the project form: your name, email address, what you want to build, and any website or app link you add. The form also notes the page or campaign that brought you to it, for example a service page or one of our posts.
  • When you email us: whatever you choose to write, and our replies.
  • When you browse: our hosting provider records technical details, such as your IP address, browser and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
  • If you accept analytics cookies: how you use the site. See Cookies below.

You only need to give your name, email address and a short description if you want a reply. Please do not send passwords or confidential client material through the form.

Why we use it

  • To reply to you and talk about your project. Our legal reason is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
  • To keep the site running and safe, including blocking spam. Our legal reason is our legitimate interest in a secure, working site.
  • To see which pages help people, only if you accept analytics cookies. Our legal reason is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not send you marketing emails, and we never sell your information.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site:

  • Our hosting provider runs the site, receives form submissions and filters spam.
  • Our email provider runs the inbox where your enquiry arrives.
  • Our analytics provider measures how the site is used, only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Our booking provider handles call bookings, only if we send you a booking link and you choose to use it.

These providers act on our instructions under data processing terms. Only the people at RavenX who deal with your enquiry can see it. We may also share information with our professional advisers, or with authorities when the law requires it.

Information outside the UK

Some of these providers may store or access information in other countries, including the United States. They protect these transfers with safeguards approved under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. Email us if you would like details about a particular transfer.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become a project: deleted within 12 months of our last conversation, including the copies in our form and email accounts.
  • If we work together: kept as part of the project record, under the terms of our contract.
  • Analytics data: deleted automatically after 14 months.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website saves on your phone, tablet or computer. We keep ours to a minimum.

  • Necessary (always on): your browser remembers your light or dark theme and your cookie choice, so you do not have to choose again on every visit. The site needs these to work the way you asked, so we do not ask for consent.
  • Analytics (off until you say yes): these cookies last up to 2 years. They tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. We have turned off the advertising features, so this data is not used to show you ads.

We do not use advertising cookies. You make your choice on your first visit, and you can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you
  • correct it if it is wrong
  • delete it
  • limit how we use it, or object to how we use it
  • send it to you or another company in a common format

Some of these rights apply only in certain situations. Email info@ravenx.org and we will reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm who you are first. We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first at info@ravenx.org. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you what we will do about it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, or to the data protection authority where you live or work.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when something changes, for example a new provider. The date at the top shows the latest version.
